I paint and draw my feelings. That's probably why I like my abstract work the best. It is an expression of my deepest emotions which are as abstract as my work. In March 2007, my then 16 year old son suggested that I try painting to help me through a difficult period in my life. I framed the first two pieces and showed them to my co-workers. To my delight they liked them. I have sold several originals and was commissioned to paint a mountain cabin from a photograph. I hated it! I then realized I hated it because there wasn't one ounce of feeling involved.

My favorite artist is Monet. I like his work because he could paint the most incredible realism yet he seemed to show his true heart in his abstract work.
